I am a LMHC and certified as a level 2 complex trauma professional, compassion fatigue and trained in CISM. I have applied trauma focused care as part of Miami Dade County School System, as a Victim Advocate for DV and Sexual Assault with FIU working alongside with FIUPD and with Center for Psych Services where I acted as a group supervisor and trainor, within the court system and victim services, and in my mental health center. I am the wife of an LEO and he is a peer support lead in his department and part of CIT. In June my husband was injured in the line of duty and just returned to the road last month. This has made me wish I had a peer support place for families where I could turn to myself during this time. I would collaborate to provide clinical services in my community and also be part to the team to help spread clinical awareness training and collaboration with peer support/CRT
