Biography:
Yemanja Vidal Krasnow joined UCF RESTORES as a full-time clinician during the fall of 2017. Ms. Krasnow received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in May 1994 and her Master’s of Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California in December 2012 with a sub-concentration in military social work and veteran services. She has extensive knowledge and first-hand experience working with children, at risk youth, families, first responders, Latino community, veterans, and the military community. She has focused her clinical efforts on treating individuals struggling with complex issues including trauma, anxiety, dual-diagnosis, and other mood disorders. Ms. Krasnow have been a longtime advocate for many underrepresented populations including the Latino, survivors of sexual violence, and the LGBTQ+ community. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is available to provided services in both languages. When not working, she spends her time advocating for her community and enjoy having fun in the water with her three children.
